Our Opinion
We can highly recommend this lovely two bedroom apartment on the Castle Harbour complex, which is situated in the Los Cristianos resort in Tenerife. The apartment enjoys
amazing views of both the ocean and the communal pool below. The views
are excellent as the apartment is on the 7th floor of the complex. As the balcony faces the sea it also gets a great deal of sun. This has to be one of the
top asks of our clients. Most people want a sunny balcony, as the weather at home can be so variable.
The apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed in the
small master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. The apartment onlys sleeps 4 people, and is ideal for families. There is a shared pool, which is very large compared with
some other complexes. This can be nice for
families with children who want the opportunity of meeting and playing with other children, rather than a villa with a private pool, which would be more isolated.

Our clients tell us that they find the Castle Harbour to be a really nice place to stay. It is also only a few minutes from the nightlife in the centre of Los Cristianos. It is an easy walk
downhill, but it could be advisable to take a short taxi ride back home, as it is uphill. But a lot of the clients that stay in this complex say that it is worthwhile for the views you get
from these apartments. The local
taxis are quite reasonably priced. The beach is only a 15 minute walk from the complex. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars within an easy walking distance.
Apparently the staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Be aware that there is a small charge for the sun loungers around the pool. But then this is quite usual in Tenerife, so
guests will most probably be used to this already. Also the plus side of this is that there is no rush first thing in the morning to hog sun loungers. There is also a life guard on duty everyday,
which is a real plus and not something you get with every complex. There is also a pool bar
serving drinks, which offers a happy hour where you can get a gin and tonic for £2 and a beer for £1 - not bad at all considering. In addition to this there is also a restaurant at the
back of the complex, which serves delicious meals.
If you read the reviews you may see that some people say that the rooms are basic. But please bear in mind that we specialist in renting out privately owned apartments, which we hand
select. The owners use the apartments themselves and are very proud of the standard that they are presented in. Indeed they are like "home from home"! Also the apartments are very
spacious and well decorated. This complex is very good for
families. The complex is also very quiet at night, which our clients tell us is a big plus.
