One Bed cottage
Palk is one of the holiday studios at Muntham Holiday Apartments, in the Wellswood area of Torquay. Wellswood is one of the more up market areas and it is close to the harbour and beach. This studio is situated on the 1st floor and is open plan inside.
The apartments have been created from a Victorian villa which was originally built for a member of parliament and later owned by a former Lord Chief Justice of Calcutta. He named the house Muntham, which means gentle breeze in Hindi. The staircase and hallway are truly opulent and the house is full of original features, such as Victorian plaster mouldings and high ceilings.
The studio itself has wifi internet access. There is a pull out double bed and a living area with Freeview TV. There is also a shared laundry room, with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Sorry no pets allowed.
