Studio apartment on Ground Floor with pool view

We booked this studio on Old Village through holidays4u.org. Karen Durant was most helpful during the booking process. We would both high recommend her service and the actual apartment. Contrary to what you may hear we did choose the actual apartment we wanted - it is possible to do through a travel agent. We chose this ground floor apartment because it had a pool view, as we like to sit out on the patio at breakfast time and the view was really pleasant and relaxing.

The kitchen was on the small side, but only to be expected as it was only a studio. But a nice touch was the washing machine, which was really handy and we packed minimally. There was also an oven, though we didn't use that much as we like to eat out in restaurants when on holiday.

The complex itself is situated on the outskirts of Vilamoura. It contains shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the marina which has its own selection of bars and restaurants and is only around 4-6 euros in a taxi. The complex is very well maintained and the gardens in particular are amazing.

There are 2 swimming pools nad a childrens' play area. I would recommend Old Village as a lovely destination for both families and couples alike.
