    Los Cristianos is today one of the busiest resorts in Tenerife, but is family oriented, as opposed to the neighbouring Las Americas, where you will find more of the bustling nightlife. It was originally an old fishing village. Infact you can still see some of the original fishing cottages along the sea front with their tiny doors.

    These apartments command an extremely enviable position, as they are perfectly situated just on the ocean front at the eastern end of Playa de las Americas, and have the choice of two small beaches directly in front of the complex.

    Playa Chica is located in the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen, close to the Hotel Fariones. It is one of the smallest beaches in Puerto del Carmen and is a pretty, secluded cove, surrounded by volcanic rock.

    Masca is the 2nd most popular tourist destination in Tenerife, after Teide mountain. The reason is that it is a very pretty, ancient small mountain villa, amongst the Tena mountains in the north of Tenerife.

    El Faro restaurant gets some great reviews and is situated on the Parque Santiago V complex in the posh part of Playa de las Americas. Although, not the cheapest, the food is excellent.

    We stayed in this one bedroom apartment on Cristian Sur recently. The apartment was on the 1st floor, so although there are no lifts on the complex, it wasn't too bad to walk up one flight of stairs.

    The El Beril apartments are right on the sea front in the Costa Adeje area of Tenerife. It is a very nice, up market area. A lot of the apartments have sea views, which is nice for relaxing on the balcony or terrace with a G&T.

    The El Cardon apartments are in a very good location, being less than 5 minutes walk from Playa de las Vistas.

  17. El Veril Del Duque apartments Tenerife
    The El Veril del Duque complex is situated in the Costa Adeje area of Tenerife, and only 1.5km from the fishing village of La Caleta. A quiet, residential complex, it is highly sought out by the people who know it's good quality.

    The greatest thing about this villa is the total privacy of the pool area. Also the fact that there are covered terraces. We can also recommend Mike's Restaurant for the 'All you can Eat' barbeque

    We stayed in this villa during 2012 and can highly recommend it. It's so much nicer to have your own space with private pool than to stay on an apartment complex. I don't think I can ever go back to apartment rental now!
