Three Bed cottage
This three bedroom cottage is one of our Torquay seaside cottage rentals. It is available for holiday rental all year round.
The cottage has a lovely landscaped garden, which surrounds the cottage and is itself surrounded by a wall. There is a courtyard garden at the rear of the property and the drive
at the front is big enough to park two cars. We now employ a gardener who looks after and maintains the garden, so it looks nice all year round.
The cottage is well equipped. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with a cherry wood laminate floor, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also
a wooden cot in this room. The second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead. There is both a shower head which
feeds from the combi boiler, giving hot water on demand, as well as a separate electric shower. The water flow from the combi boiler is stronger. There is also a separate toilet.
Downstairs there are two reception rooms. The lounge consists of a comfortable sofa, 2 armchairs, a TV with plenty of freeview channels, as well as a DVD player. There is also a dining
room with dining table and chairs, as well as an armchair and a couple of Urcol sideboards. There is also a highchair. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, separate
freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
The cottage is in a great location. Within a 5 minutes walk you come to Babbacombe Downs, where the cliff top has been developed with lots of hotels, pubs and restaurants as well as
tastefully designed lawns, night lighting and promenades. From here you can take the cliff railway down to Oddicombe beach or if you prefer walk down the via the road. But beware it is
very steep, so it is a challenge to walk back up again.
You can't come to Devon without trying the famous Devon Cream Tea. The best place for this is Angels, where they serve tea and lunches. On sunny days there are also tables outside which
enjoy the amazing sea views.
