Location
Villa Ginger is located in the residential area in the Los Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen which is within easy access of the main Avenida and sandy beach of the resort. Puerto del Carmen was originally a fishing village, but is today a busy resort brimming with wonderful amenities and facilities including restaurants, bars and shops. There is a very wide variety of international cuisine on offer, ranging from traditional Spanish, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese etc. There is really long golden sandy beach which is very well served with sun loungers and sun umbrellas for hire, as well as a abundance of water sports on offer. The bus and taxi service is very affordable and reliable, which allows for easy exploring of the area. With this in mind, we would highly recommend a visit to the exclusive international marina at Puerto Calero, which is only a short drive away or if you prefer you can catch a water taxi from the harbour in the Old Town. Other excursions and activities to try would be deep sea fishing, theme parks, island excusions, diving, boat trips, golf course, go karting, mini golf, sports centre, tennis, shopping centre, bike hire, horse riding (in Macher village), spa and wellness centres, Water Park (Costa Teguise), whale museum (Puerto Calero).

It is not necessary to hire a car when staying in this villa, but it could be useful in order to see the full range of what the island has to offer.
