Three Bed villa with sea view
We stayed in this villa during 2012 and can highly recommend it. It's so much nicer to have your own space with private pool than to stay on an apartment
complex. I don't think I can ever go back to apartment rental now! When we first arrived we were impressed by how clean the villa was and the rooms are
really spacious and furnished with high standard. The pool is heated and there is even air con. As we stayed in winter months it was also handy that the
air con doubles up as heating, so we could put it on in the evenings if it got a bit chillier. The pool was a bit on the cold side when we arrived as the
villa had been empty the previous week, but it soon warmed up. The patio area around the pool has ample sun loungers, which were very well used during our
stay seeing that my family are all sun worshippers! There is also a sea view, which was great. Although the villas are usually set further back from the
front line, it wasn't a problem. There was a small supermarket in walking distance, which we used on a couple of occasions to stock up on wine and snacks.

There is a larger supermarket at the Gran Sur shopping centre, which also hosts cinemas (including English speaking films), restaurants and bars and clothes
shops. There is a very good Chinese buffet within walking distance to the villa. It would also be useful to point out that there is a taxi rank opposite
this restaurant. Once we found that it was so easy to walk down to it and take a cab into the centre of Las Americas. The cab driver even offered to come
back to collect us again after our evening. The highlight of this holiday was a visit to La Caleta (I had never been before). We found an amazing tapas
restaurant with splendid sea views.
