Tenerife has long been a magnet for those seeking all year round sunshine. Our apartment is ideally situated for those looking for a relaxing holiday. It is within easy walking distance of fantastic beaches excellent shopping complexes and exotic night life.

The complex used to be an aparthotel, Ocean Azahara Playa, but has now been renamed, simply Azahara Playa and is privately owned. The pool area and lift facilities are well maintained by the community of owners. There is also a separate pool for younger children. It is in an ideal location as it is only a 2 minute walk to Playa de las Vistas beach. Guests can walk along the sea front promenade in either direction: either towards old Los Cristianos or in the other direction towards Las Americas, where guests can enjoy shopping at the Safari shopping centre or the glamorous nightlife. There is a lift to all floors as well as another lift down to street level. The apartments have south facing balconies, which catch the sun all day and boast excellent sea, mountain and pool views (see picture below). The nearby Mencey Centre at 50 metres contains many shops including a bar and supermarket.

Los Cristianos is a very popular area for families as it still retains it's fishing port character. The beaches have been created with break waters and golden sand, which has been imported from the Sahara (probably the reason for the name of this apartment complex). This means that these beaches are much safer for children.

It is also well worth a visit to the nearby AquaPark, which is just 5 minutes away. There is a dolphin lake with dolphin shows, a magnificent selection of water slides, a childrens' area, pools, sunbathing areas as well as snack bars, shops and restaurants.
