The Ponderosa Aparthotel was built in 1972 and was totally renovated in 2000 with new management taking over the resort in 2009. There is a friendly multi-lingual 24 hour reception. It is situated in the heart of Playa de las Americas and is only minutes from the beach. A lot of the apartments have incredible sea views.

There are 2 outdoor pools with free sun loungers. There is also a pool bar, childrens' pool and play area. The hotel also offers a restaurant and bar, as well as a relaxing lounge.
